Mrs Nancy Lee-Wong, a RIE™ Inspired Practitioner, specializes in early care & education. She has been working with young children since 1979 and over the years, she has also been actively involved in the field movement promoting the care and education of young children. Currently she is an accredited trainer and practicum supervisor for Early Childhood Education; Infant-Toddler Educare ; and also a qualified infant massage instructor.

Mrs Nancy Lee-Wong believes that every young child deserves not just good care but the best *educare possible! And that best educare one can provide is the kind that is based on trust, respect and passion. She feels that when a child feels loved and respected, he or she is much easier to educate and care for because a happy child is a learning child! She encourages the use of 3Rs (Respect; Response; and Reciprocal) in interaction and 3As (Attention; Acceptance; and Affection) in educaring, as well as the use of nurturing touch for young children's deepest emotional needs. The combination of the 3Rs and 3As, and together with the gentle and tactile stimulation, when apply appropriately, is a powerful set of tools to communicate love and security!

Mrs Nancy Lee-Wong formulated that "respecting children's authenticity and supporting their needs for exploration are the fundamental essentials for any effective early care and education." She stresses the importance of freedom of movement especially for infants, in order to promote learning through exploration!

*educare – educate while caring (a word coined by late Magda Gerber)
